Granted scopes

Data read from Shopify

ShelfOps processes Shopify API data only as needed to provide the app features enabled for a store and only when the relevant permissions are granted through Shopify.

Included data categories

  • Shop domain, store identity, app installation state, access status, and operational settings.
  • Product, variant, collection, inventory, publication, market, translation, metaobject, file, discount, and theme data when the store grants the related access scopes.
  • Order and inventory readiness data only when optional access is granted and only to support merchant-facing operational views.

Service operation

How data supports ShelfOps

ShelfOps uses data to authenticate the store, sync catalog state, display collection and product context, apply merchant-configured sorting rules, run schedules, maintain backup visibility, show metrics, monitor permission readiness, troubleshoot failures, and respond to support and privacy requests.

ShelfOps retains data while the app is installed and while the data is needed to provide the service. After uninstall or a verified deletion request, ShelfOps removes or anonymizes merchant data unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute, or operational recordkeeping reasons.

ShelfOps does not sell merchant data. Data is shared with service providers only as needed for hosting, storage, logging, email, security, billing workflow support, and app operations.

Request handling

ShelfOps supports Shopify privacy workflows, including customer data requests, customer deletion requests, and shop redaction requests when Shopify sends the relevant compliance webhook or when a merchant contacts ShelfOps directly.

Merchants can request access, correction, export, deletion, or clarification by emailing [email protected]. Please include the Shopify shop domain and the request type so the request can be verified and routed correctly.
